KATHERINE FRIESEN CAMPUS
The Katherine Friesen Campus (KF Campus) is located in Fort Garry, north of the University of Manitoba and tucked away just off University Crescent. The school boasts a beautiful gymnasium, a protected yard, and is wheelchair accessible.
KF Campus Features
New gymnasium build
Our regulation-sized gymnasium is the life of our campus, featuring a high-school size playing surface and state-of-the-art flooring. The gym is host to weekly chapels, school sports, and countless hours of community use.
Large and safe backyard
The backyard is one of our favourite places, surrounded by neighbourhood homes that keep our students safe. A new tarmac sits in front of a large play structure, along with a Gaga Ball pit that is frequently being used.
Katherine's Garden
Katherine's Garden is a school and community space built for learning, growing, and enjoying the beauty of nature. Our students plant and study flora while sitting in an integrated outdoor classroom.
Middle Years Enrichment
Grades five to eight participate in unique programs that grow their abilities outside the classroom.

KF Parent Association
Our school doesn't run without our parents, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Our Parent Association supports WMS' mission through fundraising, community events, and volunteering.

Katherine Friesen Gymnasium
Located in Fort Garry at 26 Agassiz Drive, the Katherine Friesen Campus is home to a brand new addition (opened in 2021) that includes a large gymnasium and common room. Fully accessible, the spaces are great for sports, events, or gatherings.
